Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2025

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using UK Stock Forum ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We provide a community space for discussing and researching UK London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Alternative Investment Market (AIM) stocks.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
  • Not post content that is defamatory, abusive, misleading, spam, or that infringes others' rights.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.

3. Content and Conduct

You are responsible for your posts, comments, and other content. We may remove content that violates these terms or our community standards. We do not endorse user-generated content; views expressed are those of the users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated breaches.

4. Intellectual Property

The platform design, branding, and our original content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a licence to use, display, and distribute it in connection with operating the platform. Stock data and third-party content are subject to their respective licences.

5. Disclaimer

The platform and all content (including discussions and data) are provided "as is". We do not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. Nothing on the platform constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any security. You should seek independent professional advice before making investment decisions. See our Disclaimer page for full details.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these terms or for any other reason. You may close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive termination.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated via the platform or email where appropriate.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
